I have been to Icon Grill many times and always had great service,
however, Kristi was exceptional. She was extremely friendly, prompt and
accommodating. She helped add to the experience, rather than just being
part of it, or taking away from it.

I was entertaining a friend from New York who was so impressed by her
that he wanted to find her and express his gratitude directly (she was
busy making other patrons happy though). It's hard to so impress
someone from New York that they will go out of their way to thank them!!"

"To the management:

We dined at the Icon last night, a holiday event we’ve shared for the past few years with two other families. We’re not an easy group: eleven of us, including four children under nine. We asked for three separate checks. My friend kept asking the waiter to check for onions and garlic in the food. My son dumped half a bottle of milk into my lap. But through it all, our waiter Ryan was wonderful. He gave us everything we needed, calmly, efficiently, and with good humor. I want you to know how much we appreciate Ryan for helping make our annual event even more memorable and enjoyable."

Is this your first time to icon Grill? No

If not your first time, what keeps you coming back? Everything! The ambiance, the food, the staff, the drinks, everything is beyond fantastic.

How did you hear about icon Grill and what did you hear? Icon was first recommended to us by my husband's (then boyfriend's) aunt. She is a wonderful lady who said Icon was fun and delicious.

Do you have a favorite menu item(s)? Why do you prefer this dish? I have never had anything other than the cajun rock shrimp penne. The flavor is to die for. Don't ever change it! My husband has tried a number of things and has yet to find something that isn't his favorite.

Other thoughts: We have been coming back to Icon for the past 10 years. We moved to the east coast and every time we came back to visit we had to go to Icon. We have now moved back and I am taking my husband to Icon for our 10th anniversary because it is the first place we think of when we want to be sentimental and have fun. We went to Icon last year when we were in Seattle Christmas/Channuka shopping and had one of the best times ever

Other thoughts: Will you have the piano player at your restaurant for the Christmas season this year? I've heard him the past few years, and he's spectacular! The live music adds so much to the whole ambience. I can't wait to stop in for dinner with friends (I live in Bellingham but we're planning a trip to Seattle for shopping and a visit to the Icon). How did you hear about icon Grill and what did you hear? We spotted it outside the Westin Hotel, and I have to tell you, it was a near-miss, as the outside is absolutely NO indication of what is on the inside!!

 Do you have a favorite menu item(s)? Why do you prefer this dish? The mac & cheese is to die for. I've had my share of mac & cheese, and this was NO ordinary mac & cheese. I certainly wasn't hatin' the apple pie either!!

 Dining at icon Grill is like...: I was going to say "dining at home"... except the food's better, the people are nicer, and you don't have to do the dishes....

 Other thoughts: We ate there 3 times in as many days. The waitstaff was beyond any I've ever encountered. It's wonderful and rare to find a place where everyone seems to truly enjoy their job... From the seating to the arrival of the cheque, we were treated like royalty. Amazing food (I told the waiter that if orgasms had a flavor, your apple pie would be it).. the staff, the ambiance... well, I just can't say enough good things.... Thank you for providing us with a memorable stay in Seattle. I raise a glass to your continued success!
